Morocco: for a week in the new year, any comments?

Have Been Looking At Heading Off For A Week In The New Year. Good Deal On Line For Morocco. Has Anyone Been To Morocco?
What's The Verdict?? Is It Worth The Trip. We Got An Offer Of An Aparthotel In Agadir 1.5km From Town Centre. B&b For Approx €500 Each For The Week. We Will Not Be Bringing Children So Just Wondered Would Lanzarote Be A Safer Option? Cannot Find Many Reviews On Websites For Morocco So Hopefully Someone On Th Aam Board Will Be Able To Offer Advice??

I was in Morrocco two years ago (October). Would not go back there. Didn't like food. Also much harrassment in shops and stalls - if you show any interest you will not be allowed leave without buying. In contrast went to lanzarotte last year - no comparison - beautiful island,all year round warm temperature.
