Just got forms from the revenue in the post abourt the tax relief for first time home buyers/occupiers. We were told by the broker of our morgage tat they would sort all this out for us? by recieving these fortms does it mean there will be a delay in us getting the money taken from our monthly repayments? Is this money back dated from when you pay your first repayment if there is a delay in getting the forms submitted?
Thanks

It is normal for you to have to apply for this yourself. Sometimes the lender/broker may provide the forms but ultimately you have to sign them. The relief will be backdated. You can apply for it [broken link removed] too which might speed things up.

Folks,
If one is trading up do they need to inform revenue of their change in status - i.e. non FTB?

Mickaxe.
