My brother has just left work and he now has one month off before he starts his new job, thereofore he is not being paid during this month, what benefits can he claim if any ? and how much would it be ?
He could try signing on but if he left voluntarily to change and/or is not actively seeking and available for full time work then his claim will most likely be rejected.
Jobseeker's Allowance/Benefit are payments to assist people when they are unemployed and seeking work - they are not a sort of state run income protection scheme!
