Monocouche plastering

Hi

I am considering doing a monocuche finish to the house I am going to build but the extra cost of this is pushing us above our budget.

Has anyone used this on their house in recent months? I have seen it on houses and it does look very good. Can anyone recommend a good plasterer qualified to apply it?

Has anyone who used this a few years ago experienced any downsides to it?

Currently having this applied to our garden walls and as its a small garden not an expensive job. We had some plastering done in the house and he's doing the job for us, he has done this type of work before.

Curious to hear how other people may be getting on with a couple of years down the line.

Just to note that we bought ours in Kilsaran on the N3.
