Monetary gift when on welfare

I am in receipt of One Parent Family Payment and my dad has transferred monetary Birthday gifts to me for my two sons on their birthday and also to me on my own birthday. Can doing this affect my OPFP?

Unlikely, but to get a more definite answer you'd need to specify the amounts gifted.

You can have 20,000 euro in savings without any effect on your OPFP payment, so the monetary gifts won't affect your payment unless they brought your bank balance above 20,000 euro.
