Mobile Speed Camera's

Am I right in thinking that if you dont get asked to oull over by a garda who has a speed camera gun that you wont get a fine in the post?

As far as im aware,if they clock you with one of these guns,they then stand ioyut in the road and point at you to pull over,if they dont do this then you are ok.Is this the case?

No. There is two types. One they pull you over for , the other takes a photo and you get a letter in the post.

If it was a hand-held you should be ok , if it was on a tri-pod i would watch for the postman.
