my mobile phone rings three times and then goes onto voicemail is there any thing I can do to get it to ring longer
its a nokia asha 515 and network is Vodafone

Extending your ringing tone
You can change the length of your ringing tone by typing the below code into your phone.

**61*(mailbox number)**(number of seconds you want it to ring for)# send

You can choose between 5 and 30 seconds. The standard ringing time is 15 seconds.

If you don't know your mailbox number it's just your normal mobile number with '5' added after the prefix. For example, 087 5 1234567.
 
That's great, just what I wanted to here. I also heard the short ring tone was to make a connection so the mobile company makes a lot of money on them.

Brilliant....and it works!! I've been in to my local Vodafone store numerous times with my iPhone and none of them could sort this out. No more breaking my neck to answer my phone after 3 rings anymore!!
 
I have no innate knowledge of the subject,just a good idea what to Google to get the required answer!
