Misspelt name - discount airlines

Hello,
I've just booked airplane tickets with Skyeurope airline. I've realised that I've misspelt my name (my first name is Krisztina officially but I normally use Kriszta, and I wrote this). Does anyone have any experience regarding this? Is it ok or can it cause problems?
Thanks,
skokri

Cant vouch for Skyeurope but I had a similar situation with Ryanair. My wife is Elizabeth on her passport but has always been called Lisa. I accidentally booked her as Lisa. I explained this to the gate agent at Dublin and she said it would not be a problem as it was an abbreviation of her name and permitted us to board. No problem on return journey either.

Other existing threads deal with people doing the same thing and getting or attempting to get the name changed/issue rectified. If it was me I would endeavour to have the ticket changed so that the name matched the name on my passport just in case of problems later on that might jeopardise travel arrangements.
