Hi, I made a payment to Next Plc via the next directory website using my debit card to my account with them on the 3rd of april. At the same time a standing order to next went out of my bank account. Tha standing order payment has been recieved but not the other amount paid via the website.
I have recieved an authorization code and reference number from alliance & leicester but they say they cannot do a trace as no sort code or account number was inputted at the time of making the payment.
All that is required via the next directory website is my name, card number and expiry date.
Next say they cannot find any payment made in any of thier logs, and the alliance & leicester say they cannot give me anymore information other than the ref number and auth code.
I have even sent next a copy of my statement showing the amount and who i was paid to but they are still arguing that they havent recieved it.
can someone help? i dont know what to do next and seem to be going round in circles......
