Missing miniature Hamster's

The cage was left open last night and the miniature Hamsters have gone missing somewhere in the house. We think we heard one behind the plasterboard but can't be sure, we have left their cage open for them with food inside in case they find their way back,
any other ideas would be apprenticed,
 
I think that's wishful thinking.

You'll need to trap them like mice.

Try tempting them with peanut butter.

It worked on the field mice we had once.

Use a humane trap, sort of an angled square plastic tube.

Leave it near where you heard them or the hot press, just inside the door.

I agree with the above, tempt them with something tasty.

They will naturally look for food and shelter, hamsters like safe warm places where they can build a soft nest to sleep in. Try to use food that they cant easily carry back to a hidden nest, peanut butter as suggested above is good.
 
Both Hamsters found one perfect other injured back legs,been to vet should be ok

Vet not sure what could have happened, got an injection from vet to see if swelling will go down, they both came out into the open floor on different days and just came to us, great they are back
