Currently going through mortgage application with Haven and have run into an issue. My partner was unemployed due to COVID from May 2020 through to January 2022. During 2021 she was on PUP and later on maternity benefit from the state.
Now, Haven are repeatedly requesting an EDS/P60 for 2021. The Revenue site has it as unavailable, all info I can find online suggests this is the system acting correctly - i.e. an EDS should only arise where there has been employment/pension income - so we shouldn't expect to find an EDS available.
My broker is telling me his sister was in a similar situation but has an EDS on Revenue, which is complicating the situation. Can anyone confirm whether someone who had no active employment should have an EDS? Not sure where to go from here.
