Missed Mortgage payment

I was unable to meet my mortgage payment this month because i have now changed jobs and must work a back month.My payment should of been to day.Im with the EBS.I will have the money to pay this payment and the next and end of this month is this very serious ive been with them 5 years and this is the first time i have missed a payment its a bit worrying.Im in Dublin.

Don't panic. Call EBS immediately and explain your situation. It's not serious until they record the missed payment on your credit record. Contacting them today should prevent this.

Totally agree. This won't be a problem with them as long as you get in touch with them.

Under the Regulators Code on Arrears, the bank cannot issue a formal demand until 3 months elapse and cannot move to Legal until 12 months.

The fact that this is only a blip with you regarding movement of jobs won't be a major issue.

I would not panic. EBS should not have a problem with this as long as the payment is made by end of month. Even at this they are very helpful with these kind of issues.
