Mini HiFi - load CD directly to IPod, MP3 etc

I came across a Logik Mini HiFi in Currys that allowed direct transfer of CD tracks from the HiFI to an IPod or MP3 player. I didn't bother to take note of the model at the time but I know it wasn't that expensive (around 100 Euro).

Anyone come across a HiFi with this capability and would they recommend?

Are you sure that it rips CDs to an MP3 player as opposed to playing MP3 tracks burned to a CD or allowing you to interface an MP3 player via USB/Firewire or simply the headphone/line out connector?

Yes it supposedly rips CD's to an MP3 player.....

From what I understand it rips the CD to a hard drive on the HiFi, then burns this to the IPod or MP3 player. The gimmick being there's no need for a PC....
 
I saw one of these advertised on Pixmania around Christmas time. I can't remember the model as it was pretty expensive. Just remember thinking it was an interesting idea. You could check out their website to see if its still there.
