Mini-Freezer

A few months ago, we replaced a fridge in our rented apartment. Stupidly enough, I had not double-checked that the model selected should have been one with the ice-box, until a couple of days ago, the new tenant pointed out that the fridge is a 'larder' model, i.e. without the ice-box. As space is too limited for a free-standing, under-the counter freezer, we wonder if there is such an appliance as a mini-freezer, for placing on the worktop? There are mini-fridges, but mini-freezer?

Here are two Coolzone models available on Amazon, but I expect that delivery charges to Ireland would be prohibitive. You could try ringing the likes of Power City to see if it's possible to order one..?

Our Landlord did the same with our fridge. And we requested a freezer. he got one that is about half the size of a typical under the counter fridge - in one of the DIY stores - Will try and remember to check the make tonight. The only problem with it is that the compressor (like at the back of the veg crisper in a fridge) takes up so much interior space - so we have one normal shelf - and one are the size of a veg crisper. But if its the only option then go for it - They are still bulky enough though

Make was Haire. Bought in Ireland - Not sure what shop though - Landlord did it.
