Actually theres nothing better at recording (at the price point) if thats what you need to do. As a player its long since been surpased.
I've actually seen Minidisc's for same in shops recently (can't remember where) and wondered who stills buys them. I have a HiMD but only use it for recording and so use the same 3 or 4 disks. As a result I have a few used older standard MD disks that I collected on the way and no longer use if you want them. Assuming its easy to get them to you.
