Just looking on the rte website http://www.rte.ie/news/2007/0705/metro.html
Do you think they'll really build it? They said that its supposed to be finished by 2014 and will take 5 years to build.
Suppossed to meet the metro north (ha!) on its way to the airport.
Am i being too cynical? God knows we need some real transport in this town.
 
Now that FF are re-elected and the indo is conditioning us with talk of tax cuts being off the agenda (even though the numbers don't look that bad) I wouldn't be surprised if Brian Cowen uses it as an excuse to delay it. Instead he'll probably use what revenue they get to give public sector pay increases.
