ALright all, first post...
Felt compelled finally to join up, sick of the slyness and unfairness, if possible, it needs to be publicised...
Mobile phone rates are better in Ireland from the point of view that calls are charged by the second. Many countries in Europe have a minimum rate, usually the price of one minute, bill or not. this is highly unfair, and there is no way that the operators here wouldn't love to get in on that junket... so finally it seems that meteor have bitten the bullet, with a 9c minimum call charge for pre-pay - - i don't know how long this has being goin on for, so apologies if it's old news. I'm on bill so it doesn't affect me, yet.
if vodafone,o2,3 get in on this act, we'll all be charged likewise, bill or prepay. meteor have a suggestion box section on their site, they donate to the svdp for every comment...
Mobile phone analysts and operators said that after the EU controlled roaming rates that they wouldn't lose revenue as they would make it up elsewhere... Not this way. hope ye all agree. K.
