Mercedes C180 wipers come on when I use indicator

I have a 1997 Merc C180 and the wiper comes on the intermittent setting every time I use the indicator or flash my lights (same sterring wheel stick).

Has anyone come across this?
 
Try this site. Very helpful and knowledgeable bunch of guys.
The link is to a search I did, (which seems to indicate a relay fault) but if all else fails, just post up a question on the forum.

Had the same problem with same car (95). Funnily enough it went away after a while by itself. I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. Know the main dealer and he told me it was'nt worth the expense of an investigation.
