Merc Question

Have a 2005 e class auto - question is car will roll back when in drive and the s setting on a steep hill - not a problem in the c setting. Garage say this is normal with newer models that they will not hold on a hill which seems strange to me. Has anyone any experience of this. Warranty about to run out on car soon

I reg drive an '05 E220 and have never experienced this problem, and its mainly driven in donegal which is far from flat!
