Memory of previous search keywords in Google

Hello,

All of the search keywords inputed into google are remembered. Where is this info stored? When I clear all cookies they still remain. Or maybe they are stored on a google server and it remembers my computer.

Is there a way of clearing this memory?
Is there a way of stopping search keywords from being remembered?

What browser are you using? In Firefox, go to tools > options > privacy > saved form info

you can also use scroogle

Or, again in FireFox, Tools -> Clear Private Data... Not sure if this is a standard feature or due to an extension that I had installed.

Another alternative for Firefox is to right-click the searchbox in the top right-hand corner and click on Clear Search History

Any of the drop down menus in firefox can also have individual entries cleared with by highlighting within the drop down menu and pressing shift-delete(not backspace).
