Problems with electric windows not working and a break/stop light coming on.
Any ideas or tips ?

Have had so many issues with meganes!! Anyway last time the stop light was coming on (and going on/off as you drive) it was a coil that was gone, wasnt too expensive thankfully around 180euro to replace and fit in main dealer. But indeed you need to get to a garage, not safe to be driving with warning lights on!!

Funny electrics seem to be standard on reno, I think we have all seen the christmas tree effect when someone indicate and brakes at the same time.

while annoying it should mean plenty of punters and mechanics have come across the problems.

Check the easy stuff locate and pull out relevant fuses it should be possible to see if they are blown without a tester.

If it looks dodgy replace with a fuse of the same rating.
Make sure it is properly pushed home too.

If there are relays generally under the bonnet. maybe swap the one that is on the non working side for the one for the working side.

Otherwise a decent mechanic should be able to sort you out easy enough.
