Med 2 - Dental Treatment done in NI -Do we convert to euro ?

Just helping a friend fill in their tax returns for 2007 .

The total cost for dental treatment in Northern Ireland on Med 2 is 3153 Sterling.

Now we reckon that 3153 stg in Nov 2007 was actually 4409 euro.( www.oanda.com )

Our question, is do we convert the stg to euro , or will the Revenue office automatically give the correct conversion rate when treatment was finished in Dec 07.?

You should enter the €uro amount on the Med1 which would accompany the Med2.
Revenue publish average rates for each year [broken link removed]. However if you have an accurate rate for the exact time payments were ade that is acceptable I believe.
