Means test results arrived - waiting period?

Hi,

My credits for JSB ran out recently and I applied to switch to JSA - today I received a letter from SW (dated June 2012) that had the results of my means test,which was well below the weekly rate.Am just wondering if there is a standard waiting period from when you receive your means letter to receiving payment or is it variable?

If you have received the details of your means test then you should receive a letter shortly stating when your payment will be in the post office and your next signing day. If you are not happy with the outcome of your means test you have up to 21 days to appeal the decision.
