Hello

I am hoping that someone can clarify the following for me please.

I am renting a house in Kerry and live there on a full-time basis. I have a house (my home place) in Clare which I use at weekends. I have read the operational guidelines on Property at welfare.ie but I am still confused.

Will my house in Clare be taken as means in an application for Job Seekers Allowance etc?
 
I don't know what you mean by your "home place" but it sounds to me that your PPR (Principal Private Residence) is your rented place in Kerry and your place in Clare is a non PPR. Not sure if that clarifies anything in relation to the means test?
