Lump sum benefits greater than 3/80ths of final remuneration for each year of service maybe given on retirement at normal retirement age (NRA) in accordance with the table set out below, provided that the aggregate of the value of non-pension retirement benefits in respect of service with the current employer and any retained benefits does not exceed 1.5times final remuneration.

18 99
19 108
20 or more 120

I am wondering if this is whole years only or say if you had 19.5 years of service could you get 108 80ths or proportionally more for the extra 6 months?

Thank you

You get proportionately more for the 6 months
