Maternity Leave

My wife has just returned to work after her maternity leave and I was wondering can we get tax back on unused tax credits or are we entitled to anything. Thanks .

Yes if she is on PAYE.

It *should* happen automatically with her next payroll run, assuming she is paid in this tax year.

If she is not due to be paid in the current tax year then you will have to claim any possible refund from the Revenue.
