Maternity leave tax back?

I was paid by my employer for my maternity leave. Can I claim the tax I paid on this money back at the end of the year?

Do you mean because you stopped working at the end of maternity leave and so would have unused tax credits for the rest of the year? If so they you can either file a [broken link removed] or ask for a P21 balancing statement at the end of the year to claim back any tax overpaid due to unused tax credits.
