Mastercard v Laser Card - use abroad

I used my Laser Card in Poland to withdraw cash as needed and each time my bank charged
me 12 euro.

Would it be cheaper in Poland for me to use say the Mastercard where possible and is the rate you get as good as with the Laser Card. Also are there any associated charges on using the Mastercard ?

Hi Daddy,

I'd always advise to use your credit (on one condition) - pre-fund your credit card account before you travel, then you won't incur a cash withdrawal fee.
