Can I t/f 5k from my current account to my M/C and on picking up the car ask the garage to take 5k from my M/C ?? Could get a draft but my NIB branch is 40 miles from me and is'nt convenient to do ? D DrMoriarty Moderator Messages 5,173 28 Mar 2011 #2 You could ring NIB credit card services and ask them to authorise a temporary increase to your credit limit for the purpose. Once they see the €5K in your current a/c they should oblige, I'd imagine. But make sure you don't change your mind and move the funds back.
