Marketing to Tradesmen

Anyone with any experience or perhaps good advise, most appreciated.

I am trying to market an insurance product specifically targeted at tradesmen, good rates, cover etc. Has anyone tried marketing to this sector before and where have they found the best areas to spend their money?

Get quality 1/3 A3 leaflets printed & buy free standing holders and call to all the builder providers you can and ask to leave them on their counters.Most of them will have no problem as they don't sell insurance themselves. You should make the paper is heavy or it will bend,fall out of stand and will take up the staffs time cleaning up.If you can get 4 completely different type flyers print 4 different codes so you know which work. After christmas you can call back thank them all and leave in a couple of tins sweets/biscuits.cheapest way to promote yourself
