Market Research, Where to Find Info on Online Shopping Trends in Ireland etc???

Hello Folks,

Suppose I want to open a shop selling footwear online to Ireland and the UK but want to do a bit of research into the area first.


Where do I go to find out info such as:

1. What proportion of Irish adults buy clothes online each year? By what rate is this increasing?
2. How much is spent on online clothes sales each year in Ireland?
3. How many pairs of shoes are sold in Ireland each year?
4. How many pairs of shoes are sold online in Ireland each year? Or bought by Irish people online?
5. What section of society (age, gender income etc) is most likely to buy online?
6. Do people prefer to buy from an Irish online footwear seller as opposed to ordering from abroad? Are they willing to pay a premium for this?


Any ideas on where to obtain info like this would be much appreciated.

I've tried looking at the http://www.cso.ie/ site but I cannot find any relevant information.

PS The footwear idea is just an example, I'm planning something else in the clothing retail area though.
 
Thanks, they seem to be more research/focus group orientated perhaps not what I'm looking for.

Any further advice would be really appreciated
