Marbella

Thinking of going to Marbella in March for a week and staying in an apartment. Has anybody been there, what's it like, any reputable website that would have accommodation information would be appreciated.

Marbella is the more upmarket resort of the costa del sol. Its many years since I've been there but its a nice place.

A as a regular visitor to the area, there are lots of web-sites renting apartments. One I recommend is Prestige Properties based in Elviria (about 3 miles the malaga side of Marbella).
The general area of Marbella (from Elviria to Marbella to Puerto Banus to San Pedro) has lots of apartments for rent. Just check the web.

If I fly in to Malaga airport and want to get public transport to Marbella would those in the know suggest the train to Fuengirola and then a bus to Marbella. Other suggestions appreciated.
