Has anyone any advice to offer re. the correct way to apply paint when there is mapping (napping?) in the plaster work or what questions we should be asking/instructions to give the painter we have employed to paint our newly constructed house?
Napped finish on plaster is a run of the mill finish, no special requirements for painting it. All it is , is an ever so slight sponge effect on the finish to take out the flat finish. Roller job will do it, any painter worth his sod ............... no problem
