Has anyone visited Manhattan and stayed in apartments or taken part in house swap as oppose to hotels?

Looking for recommendations for either.

we stayed at Affinia Gardens in a one bedroom apartment, which had 2 Queen beds in the huge bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge. We had a small but fully fitted separate kitchen ( full sized fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle plus all pots, pans etc) and a bathroom with shower. They also do Studio and 2 bedroomed. Some of the rooms have their own outdoor terraces. Very Very spacious and quiet.

This is on upper east side, just off 3rd Avenue, loads of shops and restaurants nearby, 15 minute walk to Central Park.
