On looking at the CRO website today for our Management Company i see the following beside status -

Strike Off Listed

Effective date: 18/02/2007

Im going to get in touch with the CRO etc. but does anyone have any experience of this happening to them, or have any ideas the best way to approach it?

Cheers

This means the company will be struck off on the 18th March, if the outstanding returns and penalties, fees etc are not sent to the CRO.

Contact the directors of the company and convene a meeting of the residents.

To go further, find out from the CRO why the company is strike-off listed. It is probably because of failure to prepare and/or file accounts with annual returns. These are easily remedied, but there may be stiff filing fees and penalties. Has an auditor been appointed? Has he been instructed to prepare accounts? Has he tried to obtain information but received no replies? The sooner these issues are remedied, the cheaper it will be.

When you say "our Management Company" do you mean the management company that manages your appartment block etc?
