management company fee

my question is in two stages

the first part is straightforward:
am i entitled to tax relief on the fee i pay to the management company who supposedly look after the grounds around my house ? their fee includes for maintaining the landscaping, insurances, lift maintenance, etc.

the second is a little more complicated:
i am the leasehold owner of my house, but i am also a member of the management company. this is due to the original company folding and relinquishing all liabilities, etc for the maintenance and insurance of the grounds. however, all the residents got together and decided to form a new company, which would then be responsible for all aspects. we have added expenses in that we are required to pay for accountants fees etc. my second question is this: am i entitled to claim for those fees paid to accountants?

Did you get legal advice on the second part of your question?

If the original management company was struck off, the norm would be to seek to re-instate the company as it is likely that overall title to the property vests in them.

And no, no tax relief.

i came into the whole messy business only after all the dealings were done; apparently one of the previous residents had been taken to court by the others, for not subscribing to the newly-formed company;

but i am of the opinion that we as individual residents are not responsible for the insurances and liabilities attached to the overall complex; i believe we should fold the company... what do others think?

(note for admin: this is a slightly different question to the original - the thread is now probably more relevant in a different forum?)

I think you should get legal advice - you need to check your title deeds to see what obligations etc.,etc you signed up for when you bought.
