Hi all,
I'm in the middle of the initial stages of personal insolvency, protected certificate issued etc and formal proposals due to be presented in January.
The management company of the house we live in have refused to participate in the process (I believe they are entitled to do so) but instead are demanding full payment of fees balance immediately which I obviously don't have.
On top of that they have now added 104.55 to the balance as solicitors fees and are writing to me saying they will proceed to judgement and I am hereby notified that all legal fees relating to same are liable by me.
My question is, are the management company allowed add these fees to the balance like this? (my pip thinks they can only do so with a court decision for costs but advised getting independent advice on it)
There is provision being made for payments to the management company in the insolvency plan but their demanding full repayment now and adding extra costs on to try squeeze out something that just isn't there.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or information you guys have.
