morning All,

Having a nightmare with boss. Lots of small things adding up to cause issues.

Lat week I had two hours off and was sue to make up the time this week. I did thing by way of 30 minutes early on Monday, and then only took a 30 minute lunch on Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday.

My boss has now said that does not count and only working before or after work can count as making up the time. And he will not budge on this.

Any thoughts on what I can do here. Its a small company, so no HR dept

Thanks,

Phil

What type of work do you do? Can you demonstrate that you have produced extra results / output etc during the extra time you worked?

Do you clock in and clock out? I know some places enforce a mandatory amount of time for lunch - there are also statutory breaks - this could be why your boss won't credit the extra time

But if this isn't a recurring thing I would just work the extra hour and a half and let it go

Cheers both for the input.

This is just one a few things.

I've just nominated to have it put down as unpaid. And now going to take my full hour for lunch every day. I only ever took 30 mins most days. So he has now lost 2.5 hours a week from me. his loss!

I'll just enjoy the Barca sun shine :)
