i've just finished writting an album worth of songs on the piano, and i want to start recording them on the computer, but i dont know where to start.
could someone please advise me on what to buy and why,as the music inside me longs to be heard.

you need a pc, a soundcard, midi keyboard and sequencer software to get started.

Like most things, the more you spend, the better the quality.

Cubase is the industry standard for sequencer software.

www.computermusic.co.uk/ is a magazine that you can buy in Easons that might point you further in the right direction

Good luck

Or you could go to a professional who will do all the recording for you - pm me for details and I will give you name of a friend who has recording studio at home and mobile recording studio if you'd prefer in your house - then you get high quality copies of your album and someone to do all the work - probably cheaper than you would buy the eq for !

thanks for the reply bobk,im going to take a good look at that site and give it a good lash.nice1 mate.
