Hi Live in Apartment that has a SEGUGIO Methane 12 Volt Gas Detector .It is connected directily to the Gas Intake and currently it is going off for no reason and cutting off the Gas Supply . I purchased another Gas detection system to be sure we were not having any Methane Issues . I was checking on the Web and it seems that it needs to be maintained every few years . I was wondering if anyone knew if a Engineer that could look at this type of detector as the installers went bust .

It probably needs to be calibrated. All measuring instruments that use cells must be calibrated either once per annum or once every two years.

I know of only one guy in Ireland who calibrates these. You may have to send it to the UK for calibration.

His name is Charlie (086 - 045 5812). He will point you in the right direction if he cannot help.
