Maintenance/General Handyman in Galway

Hi Guys, my bro in law intends on moving home from ny next year and is on the search for a new job. He has worked in pubs and maintenance in apt blocks but as he has no real qualifications, he is anxious it may be difficult to secure employment....i was thinking mgt companies but it seems they are few and far between in galway....any suggestions anyone?? pls he trying to avoid pub business as sis would be none too keen on late hours.....

My Husband & I are considering moving to Galway within the next 12 mths or so and are in a similar situation to your brother in law. My Husband has no real qualifications but has been with his current employer for the past 6 yrs in the construction industry. He fancies a change and is considering setting up his own business but isn't sure what to do... I'd be grateful if posters would give us some suggestions as to where to go from here....

The situtations wanted section might also be usefull. He could place an ad stating his experience & what type of work he is available to do etc... Do this for 4 weeks & he might get some calls. Worth a try anyways.
