Maintenance for child

Hi everyone,
New to this so hope I'm in right section. I'd be grateful of some advise please!

I'm a single parent to a 7 year old. I work 3.5 days per week. I receive part of OFP of €140 plus €300 from work.(awaiting FIS)

My childs father works full time, earning 2k per month plus another 2k under the table (in agreement with his employer as he is a consultant - self employed effectively)

He pays €160 per month in maintenance for our daughter.
He does buy her clothes and shoes the odd time.
OK....here's the problem!
We work together...yes...in the same small company, which is fine as we get on alright (he also remarried last year just to throw that in there!)

He was seeing his daughter every weekend for one or two nights overnight - as he lives 40 minutes from me....

he now sees her alot less but I'm ok with that at the moment as its more circumstances...however, I cannot get him to have her in a routine basis, for example every other weekend - its more what suits him which annoys me!

Also mention he works ten minutes from where we live but never pops out to see her eventhough he might not see her for 2 weeks sometimes.

OK also do you think he pays enough maintenance for her? I don't think he does but being completely honest I've never declared it (wrong I know).

How do I get him to pay more when there are no set guidelines or does anyone know or can give advice I'd be so grateful.

I pay 410 each month as decreed by court

Mollie - a brief intro to my situation might help you gauge what you should be entitled to re maintenance -

My partner has child with ex.
He works p/time on min wage and receives no welfare.
I am full-time student with one welfare payment.
We have two dependant children together.
We live hand-to-mouth and are behind in all bills.

He is still court ordered to pay his (very financially stable) ex 75 each wk.

You are certainly be entitled to more than E40, obviously the amount will affect your opfp but thats only fair, right? And you can get access arrangements settled in court the same day because although him not seeing much of the child may suit you, it's not fair on her, someone should ensure stability.

I hope you dont mind me getting in here with my question.

Myself and my partner went our seperate ways about three weeks ago, we where not married. We where living together for 6 years and we have a little boy of 4.5 years old. I am down a Guardian for him. I made sure of that.

Now my circumstances. I have been out of work for the past 3 years and 7 months. I was made redundant, as I couldnt find work I went back and retrained in IT. I jumped at the chance to get where I am now. I am working full time on a 6 month contract, which may or may not be extended or go permenant, depending on business needs, the usual.

As you can imagine I have outstanding debts and loans mostly of which are being dealt with by a financial management company. As we where both struggling during my unemployment period, utility bills mounted and so did other loans that where not allowed to be taken over by the financial company, thats another post.

Im on €500 take home per week, this is due to my tax credits and Medical card. My Ex is in the process of getting her own monies from the social welfare as we speak. She has been told to get a maintenance order out on me, which is fine, no issues there.

It may seem a stupid question, Ive never been down this path before. I am not sherking my responsbilities here.

With what I mentioned I am earning, what would be the amount that I would be expected to pay for the maintenance ?.

How long does it normally take for this maintenance order to be heard in the family court and what you have to pay out ?.

My Ex has been told by the CWO they they are not going to paying out anything to her until she gets confirmation that the maintenance is being saught. What forms have to be filled out and do they have to be sent into Dolphin House ?.
