Can anyone recommend some mailing list software?

There seems to be plenty of free software on the web. Mailman from www.gnu.org is one.

I'm looking for a simple program (free if possible) that allows you to manage a mailing list and be able to send a html email to subscribers.

I know I could just setup a Group in Outlook and send the mail from there.

Anyone using something mailing software?

It's not clear if you want/need a mailing list server solution or simply a way to manage maling lists/groups at the email client end of things? If it's the former then the links in this Wikipedia article might be of use. If you are going to create an email client mailing list/group then make sure to respect the privacy of recipients (e.g. by not divulging their email addresses to other mailing list subscribers if required). Hopefully you're not going to be spamming people?

No, I'm not looking for a server solution. Just a program for a desktop.
Something simple. And it does not involve any spamming.
