We have magpies pecking on our roof at 5am every morning for the last few weeks. Its pretty annoying to be woken up to. We did check one morning and they were right at the top of the roof so I'm not sure what we can do to get rid of them. I've heard of different things, like hanging CD's outside the windows as the reflection will keep them away (but they're not coming on to our window sills) but because they're so high up, I'm unsure of what else we can do.
I've googled it and can see by some people magpies can be almost impossible to get rid of.
Any ideas would be welcome.
