Magazine subscriptions

Before I ring my accountant with my latest hare brained idea, does any one know if magazine subscriptions ( for my waiting room) are a legitimate business expense?

As far as I know trade related publications are def ok. I'd also imagine that those for the waiting room would also be ok. I'd hate to go to the hairdresser without a few magazines to read !!! I am on the fringes of the fashion business and we claim all the major publications as research tools. Happy reading !!

Hmmm, trade related publications would consist of publications that the majority of my clients would not be interested in....however that does seem a sensible reply. Thanks Angie.
