Maestro Cards

hi all. does anybody know if maestro only cards can be used in tesco at the express checkout? i have a maestro only card. i know they accept mastercard/visa/american express/laser but what about maestro? cheers.

I have found even when the shops display the maestro sigs their computerised till does not accept them, been aught out in a couple of shops in UK. Email tesco or phone and ask

i tried it today in tesco but it didn't work. thanks for the reply though.
