Anyone been to either Madeira or the Azores? Would you recomend either for summer holidays for a couple? We are looking for a mix of water sports and historical stuff.
I was in Madeira last December. Nice place but not much in the way of water sports or historical stuff. Have a look at www.madeira-seekers.com and www.strawberry-world.com Aer Lingus have dropped their scheduled flights to Madeira after less than 6 months also.
