MacBook Air charger - HELP!

I bought a MacBook Air in December.

My 45W MagSafe power adapter charger broke and I have been lent a 85W charger by a friend of mine.

Is this safe to use to charge my MacBook Air or will it harm it?

is it not under warranty where you can get a replacement charger.

If the voltage is the same then it is fine, the machine with only draw the current it needs from the charger.
