Hi
We are looking at this area. Can anyone advise on what the traffic situation is like out of here in the mornings? When I look at the map it seems that the road via Coolmine trainstation must be a bottleneck. Even if you go around Diswillstown over the flyover, you come out the back of the shopping centre and where do you go from there? The traffic down onto the N3 must be very bad surely?
 
Where would you be going in the morning? City centre?. I would say a lot of people head for Castleknock Village or Chapelizod to reach the city centre from this area. Although it has eased off considerably since the downturn in the economy, traffic at the moment is not comparable with Sept when the schools reopen.

No, would be heading for Ballycoolin area. All I can do is take a drive around there sometime and see for myself I guess.

I lived there 10 years ago and the traffic was a nightmare.
I can get to Glasnevin faster from Rathfarnham through the city centre than I could from there.
