Does anyone have any idea whats happening in the courts with this and when decision is expected? have googled and nothing coming up...

Thanks

No work on line yet because of court case. Hearing due end of January. Hopefully this will not be another Carrickmines Castle.

Dont even say that!!!

Hopefully not, legislation rushed through last year to speed these cases through the courts though so fingers crossed.

Will keep an eye on the paper for updates. Thanks for replying

Apparently there is a Georgian House on the route that has to be demolished. Owners are contesting. Work should have started about six months ago but nothing started yet due to this case.

that is just mad in this country even important infrastructure like this takes so long from planning to complete...over budget..delays..have the department head cope on yet?

Luas for example, who on earth will build 2 separate lines that is not inter connected...money wasted...and so as time!

Where is this house? is it the one on Murphystown road besides the British ambassadoors?

just wondering if anyone has heard anything on the court case, i didnt see anything in the papers the weekend....?

Works starts next week on Ballyogan road, rail works to start in April. Expected completion early 2010

Read on the RPA (as far as I remember) website a couple of weeks ago that case was settled and that work was to begin in March. Went back on website today and it is now saying that "Construction will commence within the coming months."
